The circulatory system of fish consists of a closed-loop system. This means that the heart pumps the blood in a constant loop around the body of the fish. The sinus venosus, a small sac, collects the blood from the veins, then pumped through the atrium, then ventricle, then back around the body to distribute oxygen to cells.
